Singer/songwriter Johnny Hayes was born and raised in Mobile, AL. In 2006, while attending The University of Alabama he began singing and playing in bars at just 20 years old. After graduating in 2009, he moved back home and quickly realized that’s not where he needed to be to begin his path in music; in 2010 he moved to Nashville, Tennessee, to pursue a career in writing and performing his songs. Two years later, his folk project “Folks & Ghosts” moved up as high as #8 in the singer/songwriter iTunes charts in Ireland for their debut single, “Ghosts”. Since then, Johnny has been writing and recording his music, and has shared the stage with up and coming acts such as The Main Squeeze, The Devious Angels, and Brent Cobb, and has formed an Americana/Soul band, Johnny & The LoveSeats, who are steadily on the rise, and can be found playing premier venues such as The High Watt in Nashville and Smith’s Olde Bar in Atlanta.
